Though Biker Outfit is only 4 years of age, its story is successful indeed. Founder Annemarie started literally on an attic, selling used motorbike clothes mainly. Soon numerous brands joined in; Rev’it, Alpinestars, Furygan, Roof, Shark, HJC, Schuberth, Sidi etc. Late 2013 it was already time to move on.
Netwerkweg 33 became the new headquarters of Biker Outfit and BikeXperience (motorcycle garage). However, after only 1 year also this space seemed quite small… As of February 2015 there will be an extra 150-m2 shop and storage floor.
Secretly, Annemarie’s has made Biker Outfit grow into the biggest motorcycle clothing shop in Amsterdam and wide area!
She will deny any of this was her ambition. Passion for motorcycles and giving advice to people riding them is more exciting. Biker Outfit has become a spot where riders are shopping and looking around, have an espresso and enjoy the atmosphere. They bring friends along next time; motorcycle instructors are literally dragging their students to the shop. This is what makes working in the shop big fun.
If ever you come to Amsterdam, make sure you visit Biker Outfit. The shop is located in the most interesting industrial area of Amsterdam North, with lots of old and new architecture, shops and damn good restaurants.
Parking is free and the shop is also open on Sunday’s. Non-EU residents can even shop tax-free.
